About Wendy Elizabeth

I work with professional singers and developing artists in Southern Calfiornia, as well as throughout the US via web conferencing, and have working singers nationally, in Canada and abroad. Beginners are welcome! My studio is a serious and fun place to really get your voice in shape and see what you can do! We will have a specific program for your voice and a personalized practice plan. Expect to see results very quickly, and know that it takes time to develop your potential. Don't be shy! Again, beginners are welcome!

I love discovering and uncovering the true potential in a singer. So many singers have been discouraged due to poor training, lack of training or negative experiences. I enjoy turning that experience around so the singer can finally see what their potential is and how to get there.

I've been teaching for over 30 years and my singers sing locally, throughout the US, tour nationally and internationally, and have been signed to major and independant lables. If you're ready to make that change and discover what you're capable of, I think we can do some really good work together.

Finally, beginners welcome! Never too late to start singing!

I've been teaching sincce I was 23 and began teaching to support my own singing career!

I've been a professional singer and performer my whole life, singing jazz, rock, musical theater and opera, as well as being a working actor. I have a B.A. in acting and an MFA in voice performance from UCLA and studied with some of the best voice and acting teachers in the country. I incoporate yoga, weight training, sports psychology, brain science and Alexander Technique, providing a deeper understanding and faster progress. Expect results very quickly.

About the lesson

Your first lesson is important! I will assess the overall quality of your voice, voice type, range and whether you have any health issues. We will then work on posture, breathing and singing. You will hear improvement in your first lesson! We will also discuss a plan that's tailored for your personal success.

I work with Musical Theater singers, pop, R&B, rock, jazz and classical singers. My singers perform in regional theaters nationally, as well as in many venues throughout Southern California. Many of my singers have been signed to major and independent lables, and have toured throughout the US and internationally.

Beginners in my studio do very well, since we solve longstanding problems quickly.
