About Natalie

I am a 22-year-old college grad born and raised in New York City. I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a degree in songwriting and music business. I have been singing since I could talk and have been training professionally as a vocalist since 5 years of age and have learned the ins and outs of various styles (most notably opera, jazz, r&b, and musical theater). I am also proficient in sight reading, music theory and ear training and would be more than happy to incorporate that into a curriculum.

Music is my everything. I know the ins and outs of being a young performer, looking to make a name for herself, and I want to share that unique perspective with more young artists.

SEPTEMBER 2016- JUNE 2020

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts- High School Diploma with Arts Degree from NYSSMA Association

This program was dual learning, with heavy focuses on both academic and pre-conservatory music training.

JUNE 2019- AUGUST 2019

Carnegie Mellon School Of Music Pre-College Conservatory

At this summer program, I studied both classical and jazz music with performance and theory training in both genres.

SEPTEMBER 2020-

Berklee College of Music

This program is a conservatory program in contemporary music training with a goal of becoming a holistic musician; my degree track has a focus on songwriting and jazz and r&b voice performance, as aforementioned.

I have also been taking voice lessons myself since I was 5.

About the lesson

My goal is to help students hone their craft so that they can not only become better singers and musicians, but also to teach them that music is fun! As a musician, I understand how intense the industry is and how competitive it is to make it, but a key part of being a musician is loving what you do and knowing that you can only grow. I love working with aspiring musicians of all ages and I am definitely a people person. I am also extremely patient with learners and understand that music is definitely hard, but anyone can become a wonderful musician. Additionally, I can help students who are interested in performing arts schools prepare for their auditions, whether that be repertoire and/or sight reading and ear training.
