About Amanda
My name is Amanda Kate and I’m here to help you make a joyful noise! Accepting students of all levels and style preference. I have a Five Octave Vocal range so I am able to assist multiple voice types and ranges.
I studied music with an emphasis on Jazz at Verdigris High School and TCC. For Seven years I sang Lead vocals and played Alto Sax for a local show band in the Tulsa metro Area.
I’m currently an active member of Sweet Adeline’s International Barbershop organization and sing with five-time regional champions Talk Of Tulsa show chorus.
Through these experiences I learned and mastered a variety of vocal styles including: Jazz, Rock, Pop, Broadway, Blues, Country, Disco, R & B, Barbershop, Acapella, etc.
I specialize in vocal stamina, range extension, efficient singing, and stage presentation.
I can also teach you healthy techniques that can help improve intonation, resonance, breathing, and vocal freedom. I can also assist with song selection for auditions or school assignments. If there’s a particular song you want to work on I can help you dissect it musically and tackle it.
My musical passion though, is taking a vocalist and making them the best versions of themselves they didn’t know they were capable of! My number one goal is to not only give you the tools to be successful at your craft, but to encourage my students to believe in themselves.
