About Gavin
I have been playing soccer for around 17 years and goalkeeper for 10+ years. I am currently playing collegiate soccer at Providence Christian College and previously at Arizona Christian University. I have played semi pro on a UPSL team. I have also played for many well known clubs growing up like Surf, Legends, and Apple Valley Storm. With Apple Valley Storm we were 2x US Youth Club Soccer Regional Champions and US Youth Club Soccer National Finalists one year and unfortunately didn’t make it o of the group stages the other year. I won Coast Soccer League multiple times, played in California Regional League, National Premier Soccer League. I played in many big tournaments as well like Surf Cup, Manchester City Cup, Vegas Nights, and were Semi Finalists in State Cup many times. I was a 4 year varsity player at Serrano High School where I was named All League first team my senior year where I also set a record my sophomore year with 121 saves in a season. I am also experienced in the college recruitment process and would be happy to help and offer advice to the best of my capabilities. I have previous experience in 1 on 1 goalkeeper sessions and group sessions back home before I moved for college. I was coached by many different coaches who had many different styles but one coach always stood out to me as he not only made me a better player but a better person in life as well and I am forever grateful for that. He not only taught me and helped me get to be the player I am today and achieve my goals of playing soccer at higher levels but he taught me about life and gave me many life lessons along the way as well. He always made me see the bigger picture of soccer and helped me to open up my eyes and apply stuff I have learned on the field and translate it into everyday life. He made my love for the game grow every time I stepped onto the field. I hope to inspire and help others love for the game grow as mine did. Help them become better players on and off the field while passing down any advice and lesson that u can along the way.
I started teaching in high school with the local youth recreational leagues near my house where I taugh group sessions for any of the goalkeepers that wanted to come on a weekly basis and then progressed to 1 on 1 sessions.

My typical process for working with a new student would be booking the first training session and test their basic skills of goalkeeping and progress as the session goes on to see where they stand with certain aspects of keeper training live diving, catching, footwork, punching out, corners, free kicks, 1v1s etc. After assessing their skills we could book additional sessions where I will focus on working with strengths and weaknesses.
I have worked kids the ages from all ages and have trained kids of all levels.
Find a coach that cares about you and wants to grow as a player but a person as well.
