Soccer: I have played soccer since I was a little kid. I know the challenges that kids and teenagers might face when it comes to learning new skills or improving existing ones(both technical and tactical). Soccer can help us grow both as an individual and also as a member of a team. It's more than just a sport, it teaches discipline, being organized, and much more. Particularly, it has taught me how to control my anger/emotions when I need to. Those are the kind of benefits that my students receive in addition to being professionally trained to get ready for their games, etc. In college, our soccer team was the indoors soccer champion and we also were runner-up in outdoor tournament.

Programming: I am a self-taught programmer and I know what are the biggest challenges when learning a computer programming language. I try to make things simple for myself when llearning new things and that's what I will do with my students as well.

Soccer: As my day job, I am a traffic engineer and I spend many hours a day to get my work done. I have also started a company on the side to help animal lovers (my other passion). However, my main passion and love for soccer has always made it very special to me. Working from home during the past 18 months, I have had little chance of playing soccer and so, being able to get back out there and train others who also enjoy or want to learn some essentials of soccer, that makes me as happy as playing the game. That's why I am here. To spread my passion for soccer.

Programming: As an engineer, I have laways written programs to make my projects easier to deal with. I have also developed a new passion for myself in the last 3-4 years by learning web and mobile development skills and I love it. I started it because I had an idea and I needed a website and mobile app to bring it to life. It would have costed me a fortune to ask someone else to do it for me. So, I taught myself and then I built the website and app. I know that I am not the only one who comes up with ideas and I want to prepare my students for that time so they can bring their ideas to life.

As a top student in my middle school and then high school, I was always helping my classmates with their problems and used to even teach them privately if they needed more help. At the time, my teachers also sometimes relied on me to even take over grading term papers and exams since they knew how capable I was. So, even though I have never been a professional trainer, coach or teacher, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge and skills with others.

Soccer: I have been playing soccer since I was a little kid. I have been part of a college rec soccer team champion when I was doing my graduate degree. I have only coached a couple of friends so far. Other than that I am new to this platform and as I start coaching kids and teenagers, I hope to build my reputation here as well.

Programming: I am a self-taught programmer. However, I have been programming both professionally and as a hobby for the last 10 years. I know what things and how to teach to young adults who would like to learn basice, intermediate or advanced skills to build a website or a mobile application that they came up with the idea. I truely believe that everyone needs to know at least basic programing skills to be able to survive the competetion in the 21st centrury, to be able to land their dream job or even start a side hustle.

About the lesson

We will have a video call or in-person meeting with their parents to identify the goals for the sessions. During this meeting, we will talk about my approach and whether they would like to stick to that or modify to better suit their kid's training. If everything is agreed upon, I will put together a schedule and send to them for approval. Then we will start the training as planned.

Soccer: It is very important to find your strengths and weaknesses. I think it's good to work on something that yuo are already good at, but you also should be able to improve your skills that you deem yourself weak at. A good soccer player should have many skills and even if you want to be a defender, you still need to know basic goalkeeping skills and much more.

Programming: Make sure you really want this. There will be many times that what you expect does not happen. You write the same code that your friend wrote and even though they get a good output, your output is different and wrong. Patience and practice are the two fundamental P's of programming.
