About Andrea
Let me start out by briefly laying out my qualifications to help you learn Spanish. I was born and raised in Ecuador. I grew up speaking 3 languages and I can confidently say that I've had a lot of exposure handling different languages. I've experienced both sides of the process from being a language learner and also an instructor. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's in Spanish. I've had students raging from three years old all the way up to the university level in formal and informal settings.
My goal is to help you navigate through a fluid conversation in Spanish. We can start from very basic to advanced depending on your comfort level!
I'd like for us to have fun using Spanish in a relaxed context, taking full advantage of context clues, presentations, textbooks, whatever tool you find comfortable using. I do believe that immersion is necessary, and I realize bombarding someone from the get-go with a foreign language is intimidating, but don't you worry, I'm here to help you grasp the language in a relaxed and fun way.
