About Marisa

Classes are online: Google Meet, Teams, or WhatsApp. Days and Hours (PDT) availability: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm or Sunday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Cost: $35 per hour.

I was born in Argentina, so Spanish is my native language.

Passionate about education, as a guide and motivator. My goal as a tutor is to maximize your abilities, offering creative and fun educational experiences.

The class will have three moments: conversation - grammar - reading. The times and frequencies dedicated to each moment will depend on your needs. Also, if you wish, you can perform written exercises.

I worked as a volunteer Spanish teacher for foreigners in different cultural centers (GCBA Immigrant Assistance Program), in Argentina.

About the lesson

In the first class, we will talk about the reason you want to learn Spanish, what are your goals and the time you have to achieve it.

I worked with kids (5-10 years old) and adults (35 or more). When I worked in the Inmigrant Assistance Program, I taught Spanish to groups of 6 people who did not speak the same language, to stimulate the use of Spanish as the language of communication

I took classes for a month before traveling to Colombia to improve my pronunciation. We talked about different everyday situations such as asking for information, ordering food in a restaurant, checking in at the hotel, etc. The classes were designed according to my objectives. 100% recommended.
