About Marissa

Hello! I am a Certified Teacher in the State of Delaware with four years of full-time classroom teaching experience at the high school level, as well as over ten years of experience tutoring students from early childhood education through adult age. I have many diverse interests and talents and would be happy to share them with you as your teacher, mentor and tutor. I have taught Spanish, various Sciences including Medical Sciences and Terminology, Mathematics, Grammar, Writing, Test Preparation courses and many other subject areas. Send me a message and you will quickly learn I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring teacher and I hope to help you succeed and develop greater confidence in your own abilities throughout the process. I look forward to chatting with you soon!

I love working with students of all ages. I am a kind and patient person and pride myself on these necessary qualities in the world of teaching and learning.

I taught as a full-time High School level Spanish teacher for four years. I have a passion for the Spanish language and culture and would be honored to continue to share it with my students.

I am fascinated by the English language and pride myself on my strong writing and communication skills. Most notably, I truly appreciate the complexity of the grammar involved in understanding the English language (as well as the Spanish language!) and would be happy to continue to share my knowledge and skills of both languages with you if you are interested in becoming my student.

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Medical Science degree, among many other certifications. I love learning and consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I would be happy to pass on the skills I have acquired throughout my life to help you, too, become an efficacious studier and a lifelong learner.

Please contact me if you are interested. I have many additional interests and qualifications and would be happy to discuss the potential for tutoring in other subject areas, too
