I am graduated from the university of Antioquia in Colombia with a bachelor degree in animals science i came to USA with cero english and i decided to learn , my goal is get a masters degree and do a research in animal reproduction, that it is the reason i am happy to teach and share my knowloge with anothers persons because i know how difficult it is start or learn the right way another lenguage.

I started teaching because I’ve always loved languages and communication, and I realized how rewarding it is to help others feel confident speaking a new language. My background working with people from different cultures inspired me to begin offering Spanish lessons, first informally to friends and colleagues, and later to students of all ages online. Over time, I developed a teaching style that is patient, supportive, and interactive. Seeing students make progress—whether it’s understanding their first sentence or having their first full conversation—motivated me to continue teaching and turn it into a true passion and profession.

I have a strong academic background and professional training that support my work as a Spanish tutor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Production and Nutrition, which included extensive coursework in communication, teaching skills, and working with diverse groups of people. In addition, I have completed multiple certifications focused on education, language instruction, and effective online teaching methods.

Over the years, I’ve also gained hands-on experience helping students of different ages and learning styles, which has allowed me to develop a patient, structured, and student-centered teaching approach. My training has taught me how to explain concepts clearly, create engaging lessons, and guide students step by step toward fluency and confidence in Spanish.

About the lesson

When I work with a new student, I start by understanding their goals, level, and learning style. Then I create a personalized plan with clear steps to help them progress. During the first lessons, we focus on building confidence through conversation, simple activities, and practical exercises. I adjust the lessons as we go to make sure the student feels supported, motivated, and always improving.

I have worked with a wide range of students, from young children and teens to adults of all ages. My students include complete beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced speakers who want to improve their fluency, pronunciation, or confidence. I also have experience teaching heritage speakers and helping students prepare for school exams, travel, or work-related communication. My approach is always flexible and personalized, so each student receives the support they need to reach their goals.

My best advice is to look for a teacher who makes you feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. Learning a new language should be enjoyable, not stressful. Choose someone who listens to your goals, understands your learning style, and adapts the lessons to you—not the other way around. It’s also important to find a teacher who encourages you to speak from the very first lesson and creates a safe space to make mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens. A good Spanish teacher will guide you with patience, clear explanations, and practical activities that help you build confidence step by step.

A recent event I’m very fond of was helping one of my students finally feel confident speaking Spanish in real conversations. She had been nervous about speaking for months, but after practicing together through fun activities, role-playing, and gentle correction, she suddenly realized she could express herself clearly. Seeing her smile and feel proud of her progress was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love teaching—because every step forward, no matter how small, can make a big difference in someone’s life.
