About Gabriela
I am a native speaker with more than 10 years of experience teaching Spanish at all levels. I am very patient, have a lot of material to share with my students. I think that learning a new language can be challenging but also fun and regarding. I have a background in Psychology, that helps me to understand better how we learn. I have my NES in Spanish.
I love to teach Spanish, at all levels.
Being able to connect with people, know them, and see how they improve with every class is very important to me.
I love to teach using different materials for grammar, conversation, pronunciation, and more. Thorough songs, repetition, and engaging in everyday situation we can set a clear goal of the class.
Because I am a native speaker, I saw the opportunity to have a career using the knowledge I have. Also, the growing interest and convenience of being fluent in Spanish give me a great opportunity to develop as a teacher.
I have a degree in Psychology.
I have my NES (National Evaluation Series) in Spanish for the state of Arizona.

I like to spend some time asking questions about goals, interests, and the amount of effort and work they want to invest when learning Spanish. I listened and take notes that would help me later to create a plan for my student. I also like to get to know their Spanish level, thorough simple questions, quotes or phrases, knowing the knowledge level also helps me to create a better plan for the course and to use the right material for my new student.
I have experience working at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. From K-12 and adults.
I had the opportunity to work with kindergarten kids, also kids with some special needs, with anxiety, ADHD.
I am very patient and care a lot for my students.
Look for a native speaker with a lot of experience teaching.
