About Irene

Do you want to learn Spanish and feel that you are learning? I am your tutor. My name is Irene and I am from Spain. I am a teacher and I love my profession. Learn another language, communicate with others and grow personally and professionally. Know grammar and expand vocabulary through communicative and manipulative spaces. I have worked with students from Pre - K, Elementary and Middle School. I am a specialist in learning difficulties and in teaching Spanish as a second language. Graduated from the Cervantes school, I prepare to take the A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 Spanish exam. Do you want your certificate? Now is the time! APRENDE ESPAÑOL

My classes are very dynamic and interactive. I like that students are active participants in their own learning. I enjoy their motivation and their learning and I like to create an atmosphere where this is possible.

I started teaching in Spain. Currently, I work at a college in Arizona. Due to Covid-19, I was trained in new technology and in online classes, so I control the programs very well to be able to interact with them.

My studies are related to education. I am a graduate in Primary Education Teaching. I am also a specialist in learning difficulties. I studied a master's degree in affectivity and emotions in learning. And finally, a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a second language.

About the lesson

The first step is to contact the student, to know their objectives and needs. Later, a second step is to evaluate the initial level so that I can adapt my methodology to the student. Finally, start working to achieve the proposed objectives.

I have worked with students of all ages, from children to adults. With level 0 to advanced level.

Learn with me. I am a person who adapts easily to the objectives you want to achieve in teaching a second language.

The last project I carried out was a didactic unit to explain the teaching of the Spanish subjunctive to a group of students of level B1. It took me a week to prepare it, but the results were excellent.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What studies do they have? What experience do they have? Why do they teach Spanish? What is the most difficult thing they have explained? Do you know how to use new technologies?
