About Inderjeet
I have been teaching/tutoring children ages 3-7 for the past 30 years. I have a Master's degree in Language Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Education. I am also certified to teach children with special needs and have over ten years of experience working with them. I am currently working as a substitute teacher for pre-K to the 5th grade. My goal is to individualize curriculum for each student after assessing their needs so that we can together develop a solid foundation for academic success.
Teaching children is my passion. I have worked with thousands of students in the past 30 years, many of whom reach out to me years later as they are going to college or have landed successful jobs. I truly enjoy teaching children how to read and write. I am also trained in teaching children who may be dealing with speech delay and can provide assistance to develop language skills.

The first session will consist of developing an individual learning plan. I will engage with the student/guardian to see which type of learning suits them best. For example, some children are visual learners and others fair better with auditory instruction. The ongoing tutoring sessions will then focus on each child-specific learning plan.
