About Andrew
Hi there, my name is Andy Lemos, and I'm from northern California. I have a wife and four kids. I have been teaching special education in middle school and high school for more than 10 years.
I am new to online tutoring but have done tutoring in the past. My goal as your tutor is to do what is necessary to help you meet your goals, whatever that needs to look like. I believe that learning is a "trial and error" process, and some days the learning may look different than the previous day. You and I are going to focus on finding routines, habits and a structure that work for you, and repeat those until we cross the finish line...whether that's a better grade, meeting a goal, or learning a new skill.
Learning is a two-way street between tutor and student. I am more than willing to be patient, listen and coach you as long as you show me consistent effort, responsible behavior and mutual respect.
