"maria is truly a wonderful tutor. not only was she encouraging at patient, but also made sure that my daughter was able to achieve the grade that she wanted. at the beginning of year 10, she was getting grade 5s in french but in her actual GCSEs, she managed to get a 9!! "Maria is a remarkable tutor with a broad range of teaching skills and a lot of
patience and adaptability to her student`s needs! We have contacted her for my
boyfriend`s mother who could barely speak English and is also struggling with
attention and focussing issues and we can say she has done an excellent job!
We could see the improvement from the very first months and she really progressed
since they started working together. Teaching a second language to adults who only
speak their native tongue is quite a difficult task and we can`t recommend her enough
for the job, she`s a pro!"

About the lesson

I split my lessons between grammar and vocabulary practice using various media. I teach thoroughly and aim to leave nothing unclarified as well as to adapt my method to the individual needs of each pupil. My aim is to find a perfect balance between theory and its application in a creative and stimulating way.

Maria teaches a online group class for some of our staff, it is optional for a couple of our staff who have expressed an interested in learning Spanish and she has been really great and flexible accomodating different staff each week. Her classes are well prepared and clear and have been really enjoyed so far!

Kindly consider that the purpose of the first free lesson is for the pupil and tutor to get to know each other a little bit and for the tutor to get a sense of the pupil's level and method of learning.
