About Glen

Regardless of your level I have developed extensive coaching techniques over the past 20 years to help you reach your goals safer and faster than anywhere else. Our primary goal is teaching the fundamental basics of wakesurfing and wakeboarding in a fun and safe learning environment. This is where every individual can have the opportunity to excel regardless of ability. I work with students one-on-one coaching lessons for both wakeboarding and wakesurfing. I have extensive experience with first-time riders developing their basic skill set, intermediate riders wanting to work on a new trick and advanced/competitive riders who are looking for an edge in refining their current trick list.

Everything! Spending the day in the boat while meeting new people from all over the world! I'm originally a surfer from Tauranga, New Zealand. I have traveled all over the world following my passion for wakeboarding and surfing, finally settling in the meca of all watersports: Orlando, Florida. I have been coaching for over 20 years sharing my knowledge in the sports that I love. This job is amazing because doesn't matter the age or the ability, there is nothing more satisfying than watching the thrill of the athlete learning a new trick.

I was competing and helping the other athletes while I was competing against them. I realized that I couldn't do both things really well and enjoyed coaching.

I have a over 20 years working as a professional coach. I am lisenced with a Merchant Mariners captains lisence and am insured.

About the lesson

The process will vary depending if the student is beginner, intermediate or Pro. Typically, we will talk and go over what they want to work on. If the student is a beginner we will go over what to expect on the water and do dry drills inside before we ever hit the water. If the student is advanced or Pro we will work on the trick on the trampoline before and after we are on the water.

The youngest was around 5 and the oldest was in their 70s!

Make sure that they have actual experience coaching. Just because they can do the trick doesn't mean that they can teach it. I have had so many students not realize that they have been working so hard, frustrated because they are not getting results because the coach doesn't know what they are doing.
