I take my time depending on age. My main focus if small and new is Safety !
After that Breath and safety drills. Then move on to technique.Kicking breathing and floating all part of the process.
I bring toys for little ones.. we sing we play and make it fun!!

Perfect! Peggy has been wonderful with my 2 year old daughter. She took the time to let my daughter get to know her and built trust before she started the real work. I think that made all the difference. Yes there was resistance at first now my daughter looks forward to her lessons and loves to see Ms. Peggy. She is able to safely get herself to the side of the pool if she falls in now. I will continue to use Peggy later in the summer and next year for a refresher. So glad I found Peggy.

Peggy is an incredible swim instructor! We are so happy to have found her in 2017. Since that time, she has worked every summer with our two granddaughters. The girls, ages 9 and 4 are now wonderful and confident swimmers both on and below the water. Peggy's high energy and fun teaching style blends perfectly with her technical swimming knowledge. She is also highly skilled in child development and knows exactly how to motivate and engage a youngster. Our granddaughters love her and eagerly look forward to every lesson with "Miss Peggy".
