About William
Having taught students of all ages since 1980, I have developed an engaging style that reaches students where they are. My goal is to have each student take away something from the lesson, and it may be different for each
I have been practicing martial arts since the early 1970's. Obviously if I didn't enjoy it, I would have given it up years ago. Teaching affords me the option of seeing the 'ah-ha' moments on the faces of learners as they make small (and sometimes, large) breakthroughs.
I have had the honor and privilege to have learned directly from Ta Shih Professor H.I. Sober. I have achieved grand master levels in both hard and soft styles.

New students, individually or in groups are led through basic movements. Principals of the arts are discussed and employed. Constant review and practice eventually leads to proficiency of technique.
