About Leolia

M’y name is Léolia jeanjean, i am 23 years old and I am from France. I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old in France and won the National 10s, 12s, 14s. Highest ranking in Juniors was 49 when I was 14 years old. After a long injury I started to play at collegiate level (D1 4 years Baylor& Arkansas and D2 1 year Lynn) and then professional level (highest WTA ranking 548). I have been teaching and hitting partner for a little bit over 3 years now but has experience on the WTA tour and ITF junior tour (played Wimbledon and Roland Garros junior).

ITA All-American Singles & doubles

D2 Player of the year, ITA senior player of the year, SSC Female athlète of the year (2019)

Doubles Winner of ITF 15k in Cancun (June 2019)

Looking forward to play with you! 🎾

I love playing tennis and I think it is a chance to do what I love as a living.

Back in France in my tennis club. Started to help coaches on court when I was 14 years old (every Wednesday and weekends). Then continued when in college (mainly in Arkansas at a country club), then I’m Texas for a few months (specific to only 1adult and 1kid) and lastly in florida for the past year in several academies.

College experience: 4years D1 +1year D2

Professional experience: Highest WTA rank: 548

18years of playing tennis

Hitting partner/coach for multiples junior players, adults and smaller kids.

About the lesson

Asking the new student what is his/her level, ambitions/goals, what are they looking for and are expecting from me.

I have worked with really young kids as coach( 3-8 years old). Worked with Juniors (12-17y/o) as hitting partner mostly and then with adults I have experience with 35years old, 47y/o and 63y/o (I have coached them individually)

Also was a head coach for a Lady Clinic (Group of around 8-12 people— age range: 34-78y/o).

To reach out to the teacher so they can have a first contact/impression of the person and advise from there. By having a talk before booking a lesson is helpful so the student can have a first feeling of how he feels about the teacher.

i am currently playing with 3 young players and looking for more!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do I really want to practice/give a try at tennis?

Can I have a good attitude through the lesson?
