About Joe
My name is Joe George, I was a Math teacher over 5 years ago in the Boca Raton/Coral Springs/Parkland region teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and doing further subject tutoring in AP Calculus, SAT/ACT test prep. After deciding to return to school to pursue an Engineering degree, and beginning full time work I began to focus on this more. As things are starting to become easier to balance, I've begun tutoring Math again from all levels K-12, and even college courses. I understand the anxiety math gives people, the need to attain a certain score for gaining acceptance to pursue secondary education and I'm excellent at communicating how to be an efficient test taker and clarify any concepts your student might me struggling to comprehend. I am flexible and willing to do online sessions via zoom/facetime, and even meet one-on-one, under the supervision of a parent/guardian to ensure they are getting the education necessary to succeed in any course they might need assistance with. My regular work ours are 8am-5pm on weekdays and can make myself available after or am available on weekends if needed to prep for the upcoming week.
