About Carol

I have over 20 years of teaching experience, 5 years in a public school system and 15 years privately. I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Connecticut. I've been successfully teaching remotely since March. I've taught students ranging in age from 3 & 1/2 years to 72 years old. I'm passionate about the violin and helping my students learn.

I've always loved the violin and children so it's natural to combine my loves in order to teach.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and prior to Covid I was taking violin lessons along with playing in a string chamber orchestra.

About the lesson

I make sure a student has all the essentials to start learning how to play the violin. They need a violin, bow, rosin, tuner and a music stand. I recommend music depending upon what level they are at.

I've taught students ranging in age from 3 & 1/2 to 72 years old.

I would recommend asking the teacher any questions you have and take a few lessons with the teacher to determine in you are a good fit.

I had a recital for my students, their parents and friends in December 2019.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want to learn? Is there a specific type of music that I want to learn?
