About Alexia
I have been a volleyball Coach for 7 years now. Mainly beginners teaching serving under and over, spikes, setting, digs, and passing. I also do conditioning for the core and body for volleyball players. All of my players have moved on and made varisty teams at high schools. I have played for quite some time myself 10 years overall as a setter. In tournaments i have went to the highest divisions and won trophies for best coach and team spirit.
I love to see the progress at the end beginner players learn so much and become very great players.
I started teaching when one of my former volleyball parents asked me to give their child individual lessons. From there i started doing it more and more often during and after seasons.
I had great training through Detroit Pal attending many volleyball clinics. I also was a former player myself. I also have other trainings like concussion, cpr how to coach volleyabll training.

My typical process i will start with the basics of volleyball simply learning the game. Once the basics are masters i move on to the more difficult parts of volleyballs like digs.
Most of my students are girls who never played volleyball or any sport before.
Look for a teacher who is passionate about the sport and willing to teach you everything they know. Look for someone with experience and also have fun learning the sport.
A recent event i am fond of is when my team won a game against one of the toughest teams in the league.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about their dedication to the work and the benefits once its all over.

My experience with Coach Lexi was amazing. She was great at separating fun and work when needed. I was a struggler but she pushed and worked me hard to become better. She never gave up on anyone and always told us to try and improve if you were the best or the worst. She made time for everyone and cared about us genuinely like family. We also, had a great season with her as our coach. We won almost every game and she made sure we showed sportsmanship. She would keep us looking for the win even when we were down by a few points. She would also reward our wins with a scrimmage day or pizza sometimes. Overall, Coach Lexi was a phenomenal coach and friend to our whole team.
I liked working with coach Lexi because she knew what she was doing and was really good at it, and also pushed us to try harder and get better.
I liked how she was nice to everyone and everyone got to play in the games
she was very helpful and super encouraging
I liked how she challenged us and always supported us.We had a lot of fun learning how to play the game.
She is really experienced and seemed to make us all way better at volleyball. And helped a lot with my serving. I also liked how she pushed us really hard at practicing to make us stronger for games.
Coach Lexi was a very great coach and taught us everything . We went from not knowing how to hit a ball to winning games . I am so thankful for her and what she has done for our team .
We had a lot of fun and learned new things
Overall, the season was a success. We were able to come together as a team & win almost every game! coach Lexi was the best, she taught us many drills that were efficient during games, she made sure we had everything, & She also worked us but let us have fun when the time was right. The season worked out well, & it's nothing bad to say!
