About Raven
I enjoy when I am able to help a student reach an understanding of the subject they are struggling with. I have spent years tutoring, helping dozens of students aged from 5-20. I have taught everything from math for college exams to reading comprehension and writing for taking the ACT. I have been able to help students improve their ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) scores from the 10th percentile to well into the 50th percentile. In my past years of teaching and tutoring I have adapted a variety of habits that will allow any student to flourish.

Biology and microbiology graduate with an emphasis in chemistry. Experience in teaching STEM students and tutoring for ACT/SAT prep (scoring a cumulative 28 with writing section) and university math entrance exams. I have been able to increase students' scores and knowledge by adapting my strategy to each individual student.
