Tekano and I went to the same primary school, high school and university. He is very focused and has a great understanding of mathematics (and physics). Throughout the years he helped me understand some of the hardest mathematics topics by making them easy.

I recommend Tekano as a tutor I have come to know Tekano as a fellow Astrophysics student back in 2017 at the University of the Free State (UFS). As a student Tekano was always very competent when it came to understanding the course work, as well as helping his fellow students to understand the course work. But that didn’t surprise me since he was one of the most hard-working people I have ever met, and he wouldn’t hesitate to work till late at night or to even study through the night.

As a fellow tutor since 2017, I came to realize that Thekano was very gifted at teaching due to his capability of explaining and visualizing the most complex theories and scenarios in very simple. He is also very motivated, passionate and compassionate when it comes to learning and teaching math's and science, which are the three core elements for any successful tutor/teacher. His love and passion for science have also led him to help with weekend Astronomy shows at the planetarium on Naval Hill. With this background, I strongly recommend Tekano as your Superprof.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tekano two years ago at the "High Energy Astrophysics in Southern Africa" annual series conference. I was particularly impressed with what a goal-oriented, knowledgeable and articulate character Tekano appeared to be. His ability and willingness to motivate others makes him a great tutor.

Tekano is an incredible Astrophysicist and he holds an MSc in Astrophysics, BSc(Hons) Astrophysics and a BSc double major in Physics & Astrophysics. He is an advanced researcher in the following fields of science applied in High Energy Astrophysics; Mathematical Modelling, Mathematical Statistics, Particle Physics, Observational Astronomy, Electromagnetism, Computing/Computer Science (Advanced Algorithms) and Data Science.

If it wasn't for his wonderful, approachable personality and his ability to explain advanced concepts in a fun and interesting way, I wouldn't have obtained my entire BSc Physics & Astrophysics (double major) degree. He is an incredible mentor in Mathematics, Physics, Astrophysics & Electronics and the best part is that he enjoys empowering the youth to become active participants in STEM related fields.
