About Michele
My passion project is to make learning fun and meaningful for kids. In my near decade of public school teaching in grades 3-5, I’ve consistently seen my students grow in math and reading skill proficiency. I love learning and trying new things. In order to help your child fill gaps in math skills, I will happily dig into both familiar and unfamiliar topics, so I can use that content to make learning interesting, applicable, and enjoyable.

Early lessons will start with an interest inventory that helps me build instruction tailored towards each child’s individual passions. Through the proven techniques of modeling and guided practice, kids will begin to develop a curiosity and desire for learning necessary math skills. When they are interested in the topics and can apply the information to things that are meaningful to them, a child’s confidence level grows and their proficiency improves.
