About Eleanor
Across 9 years of violin instruction, I have guided Children and Adult Learners toward stronger technical ability through organized lessons and encouraging support. Helping students discover confidence while enjoying music continues to inspire my dedication as a teacher.
My instructional philosophy emphasizes posture, bowing accuracy, rhythmic control, expressive phrasing, intonation, notation reading, and performance preparation. Students benefit from practical demonstrations and patient coaching that transform challenging techniques into achievable learning experiences.

Students follow a progressive learning structure that develops violin technique through demonstrations, practical repetition, and performance activities. Every class strengthens existing skills while introducing new concepts gradually, ensuring confident progress in an encouraging learning environment.
Instruction includes posture alignment, bow distribution, finger placement, scales, shifting, rhythmic accuracy, vibrato development, sight reading, intonation, tone quality, and expressive interpretation. Practical exercises improve technical consistency while developing confident and musical violin performances.
Constructive coaching, individualized practice routines, and regular performance assessments provide continuous direction beyond classroom sessions. Personalized feedback helps students strengthen weaker areas, celebrate achievements, and make steady progress toward their musical goals with confidence.
