About Daphne
I’m a dedicated vocal tutor and songwriter with over 4 years of experience helping singers grow their skills and confidence. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting with Voice as my primary instrument. My teaching style blends artistic expression with practical vocal technique.
One of the unique aspects of my lessons is the use of modern music technology. I often work with DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones to help students understand how vocals function in contemporary music production.
My genre focus includes R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. Together we work on tone shaping, harmonies, phrasing, and emotional delivery. I also emphasise lyric interpretation so students can connect deeply with the songs they sing.
I support both hobby singers and those who dream of recording and performing professionally. From vocal looping to layered vocal arrangements, I enjoy helping students experiment creatively. If you’re ready to grow your voice and tell stories through music, I’d love to work with you.

My teaching method is designed to support singers who enjoy learning in a collaborative environment. We focus first on healthy vocal habits such as breath support, relaxed tone production, and accurate pitch. These fundamentals are important for every style of singing.
When working with groups, I emphasise ensemble awareness. Students learn to blend their voices, match tone colours, and adjust their volume to support the choir’s overall sound. Listening carefully becomes just as important as singing well.
We practise part-singing and harmony exercises that strengthen musical independence. I also introduce sight-reading skills so singers can approach choir music with confidence. Singers who perform in orchestral or crossover styles receive guidance on adapting their voice within different ensembles. My goal is to help students become strong, dependable members of any vocal group.
