About Thalia
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Microbiology. My passion lies in combining traditional biology with the power of bioinformatics and computational biology. This integration allows students to not only understand biological concepts but also apply advanced computational methods to real data. In my sessions, I focus on analyzing large genomic and proteomic datasets. I guide learners through sequence alignment algorithms, phylogenetic tree construction, and the use of powerful bioinformatics tools such as NCBI and BLAST. These skills give students the ability to explore patterns in biological data and interpret complex results with confidence.
