We cover NMR, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy in detail, understanding how each reveals different aspects of chemical structures. Chromatography techniques are also explained step by step, showing how they help separate and identify compounds effectively.
Quantitative analysis is another key area, where you’ll learn how to measure and interpret data with accuracy. Throughout the lessons, I emphasise why these techniques matter and how they’re applied in industrial and research settings. The goal is to bridge theory with practice so you see the real-world value of each method. I also support those working in chemical engineering or even DIY formulation, helping them master sophisticated lab techniques relevant to their projects. I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry. My teaching approach is holistic and interdisciplinary, especially focused on electroplating and surface finishing chemistry. I help students explore the fundamentals of electrochemical deposition, diving into electrode kinetics and bath composition. We study how these factors influence material properties and the quality of coatings.
