About Esme

With 7 years of professional teaching experience, I am a dedicated Flute tutor working with High School students, College students, and adult learners. Over the 7 years, I have successfully guided around 300 students in their flute learning journey.

My teaching philosophy is focused on discipline, consistency, and positive motivation. I believe that strong fundamentals are the key to long-term success in music. I explain each concept clearly and revise regularly to ensure proper understanding.

My lessons include proper breathing, finger movement, posture correction, sound clarity, rhythm practice, scales, and sight reading. I also teach students how to practice effectively at home for faster improvement.

Several of my students have performed confidently on stage and participated in school and college events. Some have also cleared music exams with good results.

My aim is to build confident flute players who enjoy music and continue learning with passion.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, understood, and inspired.

Motivation helps students remain positive and steady in their learning journey. I use encouragement, progress tracking, and small achievements to keep students interested and confident.

Communication allows clear understanding of each lesson. I teach students breathing techniques, finger placement, tone control, articulation, rhythm, and tempo step by step. I encourage students to ask questions freely and clear their doubts patiently.

Integrity is the base of correct learning. I focus on discipline, regular practice, and correct playing habits. I make sure students learn proper posture, hand position, tuning, and clean tone from the beginning.

Creativity helps students develop their musical expression. I include listening practice, expression training, improvisation, and performance preparation. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and rhythm exercises to strengthen overall musical understanding.
