About Daniella
Hello, I’m Daniella, a dedicated and enthusiastic English tutor committed to helping students grow in both confidence and ability. Although I am a young tutor, I bring strong academic knowledge, professionalism, and a genuine passion for English Language and Literature to every lesson.
Having recently progressed through the education system myself, I understand current exam expectations and the pressures students face. This allows me to explain concepts clearly, break down exam questions step-by-step, and make learning feel approachable rather than overwhelming. I combine patience, structure, and encouragement to ensure students feel supported while still being challenged to achieve their best.
Outside of tutoring, I play netball, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, communication, and resilience — qualities I also bring into my lessons. Just like in sport, I believe progress comes from practice, positive mindset, and consistent effort. I encourage students to build confidence gradually and celebrate improvement along the way.
I prepare carefully for every session and tailor lessons to each student’s goals. Whether it is improving essay structure, analysing literature in depth, strengthening creative writing, or preparing for exams, I aim to create a calm, focused environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independence.
Professionalism, reliability, and clear communication are extremely important to me. My goal is not only to improve grades but to help students feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.

My name is Daniella, and I specialise in teaching English Language and English Literature to primary, GCSE, and A-Level students. My lessons are designed to build confidence, strengthen core skills, and help students achieve higher grades through structured yet supportive learning.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and active engagement. I break down complex texts and exam questions into manageable steps, modelling high-quality answers and teaching students how to analyse language, structure, and themes effectively. I use guided practice, exam-style questions, vocabulary building exercises, and regular feedback to track progress. For younger students, I include creative writing tasks and reading comprehension activities to develop strong foundations.
A typical lesson lasts 65 minutes, though I also offer 90-minute sessions for exam preparation. Each lesson includes a starter activity, focused skill development, independent practice, and personalised feedback. I tailor every session to the student’s strengths and areas for improvement.
I have several years of experience supporting students in improving their writing, reading comprehension, essay structure, and exam confidence. I am familiar with GCSE and A-Level exam board requirements and help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for.
