About Austin

I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience. I have taught students from school level to college and working professionals, helping them develop their musical abilities.

My teaching approach is based on clear communication, flexibility, and understanding each student’s goals. I design lessons that suit the student’s level and help them progress gradually. I focus on both technical skills and musical expression.

In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm practice, and ear training. These help students become confident musicians. I also include song-based learning and creative exercises to keep lessons engaging.

My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build discipline, improve technique, and develop confidence in playing. I also guide them in managing their practice time effectively.

I aim to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn. My goal is to help students enjoy music and grow in their piano journey.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is holistic and student-focused, combining technical skill, musical understanding, and creative expression. I believe that learning piano should be engaging, motivating, and personalized to each student’s abilities and goals. Through clear communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations, enabling me to design lessons that are meaningful and effective.

Creativity is encouraged in every lesson. Students are invited to explore improvisation, compose music, and experiment with different styles, helping them develop their unique musical voice. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to each student’s pace, learning style, and level of expertise, ensuring progress while keeping learning enjoyable.

Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This integrated approach builds technical mastery, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My goal is to cultivate confident, skilled, and passionate musicians who enjoy learning and performing music for life.
