About Lara
I have 6 years of tutoring experience and specialise in teaching Python to school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided 200–300 students in building strong coding skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy is simple — make learning clear, practical, and enjoyable. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply while applying them through real projects and hands-on exercises. I emphasise problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking so students not only learn Python but also develop skills they can use in other areas of study and future careers. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and style, ensuring they feel supported and confident. My goal is to make Python accessible and exciting for every student. My teaching approach for Python is built on accountability, creativity, and clear communication. I aim to make learning Python engaging and practical for students of all levels. I cover not only Python fundamentals but also related topics such as object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, data analysis, automation, and basics of machine learning. I encourage creativity by guiding students to build real projects that match their interests, whether it’s web development, data visualisation, or automation tools. I focus on clear communication, breaking down complex concepts into simple steps so students can understand and apply them confidently. Accountability is central to my teaching—I track progress, set achievable goals, and ensure every student stays on track. My lessons are interactive, combining theory with hands-on practice. I also guide students in problem-solving, debugging, and best coding practices. This methodology not only strengthens coding skills but also builds confidence and prepares students for exams, projects, or job opportunities in programming.
