About Lyra
My teaching approach for Singing is centred on Diplomacy, Accountability, and Open-mindedness. I also use modern tools like pitch visualisers, recording apps, and digital sheet music to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. My approach ensures that students not only improve their vocal control and range but also understand how to use their voice with expression and confidence. Besides Singing, I also teach related subjects such as ear training, vocal theory, and songwriting. I encourage students to explore different genres and techniques to develop their versatility and creativity. Through consistent practice, honest feedback, and encouragement, I help students achieve steady progress and discover the full potential of their unique voice.

With over 9 years of experience as a professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach, I specialise in teaching Singing to college students who want to develop their voice, style, and confidence. My goal is to help students discover their true vocal potential and express themselves freely through music. I believe that singing is not just about technique but also about emotion, storytelling, and connection. Every student has a unique sound, and my role is to guide them in refining it with care and creativity. My teaching style is friendly, diplomatic, and open-minded. I focus on building strong fundamentals like breath control, tone, vocal range, and stage presence, while also encouraging individuality and self-expression. I use innovative methods such as recording feedback sessions, digital pitch tools, and interactive vocal warm-ups to make learning more engaging and effective. Each session is personalised to match your goals, musical preferences, and comfort level, ensuring steady progress in every class. Along with vocal training, I also teach related areas such as vocal performance, songwriting, and ear training. I encourage my students to explore different genres and styles to find what resonates most with them. Whether you’re preparing for performances, auditions, or simply want to improve your singing skills, I’ll help you build confidence and develop your voice step by step.
