About Austin
I have 14 years of experience in clinical practice in manual therapy, conducting research based in social sciences, and informing policy decisions in charity and educational sectors. I have worked in public, private, and charity sectors for over 20 years. You will find me adaptable to your learning style, friendly and encouraging, supportive and always open to discussing the approach that will help you get the most out of yourself. My work covers the following areas: healthcare particularly manual therapies; qualitative and mixed-methods research; literature reviews; integration of technology into healthcare; regulation of manual therapies. I have personal experience of neuro-diversity and will be happy to advise and work with those living with ADHD or autism-spectrum disorder, as well as those who work with neuro-diverse colleagues. I have a personal interest in the social ramifications of artificial intelligence, particularly in healthcare, and am conducting ongoing work in this area.
