About Cohen
I am an experienced Spanish tutor with 14+ years of helping High School and College students achieve success through personalised education. I believe that every student deserves lessons that match their abilities, interests, and long-term goals. By understanding how each learner studies best, I create lessons that make Spanish both enjoyable and rewarding.
My lessons develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversational skills. I use practical examples, interactive activities, and meaningful conversations that encourage students to apply their knowledge confidently. My lessons balance academic learning with real-life communication, allowing students to develop complete language skills.
One of my strongest qualities is creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. Students feel comfortable asking questions, practising without fear, and learning from their mistakes. I regularly evaluate progress and adjust lessons to ensure continuous improvement while keeping students motivated.
I also believe cultural knowledge is an important part of learning Spanish. My lessons introduce students to authentic traditions, celebrations, customs, and everyday expressions from Spanish-speaking countries. This makes learning more engaging while improving communication skills.

My Spanish teaching methodology emphasises motivation, communication, creativity, and strong time management. I motivate students by understanding their goals, providing encouragement, and celebrating small achievements to build confidence and engagement.
Communication is central to my approach; I help students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in practical, meaningful contexts. Creativity is incorporated through storytelling, games, role-plays, and visual aids to make lessons interactive, fun, and memorable.
Time management ensures that lessons are balanced and productive, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice. I also guide students on organising their study and practice outside class.
