About Elise
I am a passionate Spanish tutor with 12 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to personalised learning because I believe every student deserves lessons that reflect their individual abilities, interests, and aspirations. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping learners gain both knowledge and confidence.
My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversational Spanish. I simplify complex topics using practical examples, interactive exercises, and real-life communication activities that make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Students are encouraged to participate actively and practise regularly, helping them build confidence with every lesson.
A unique part of my teaching is my ability to create structured yet flexible learning plans. I carefully evaluate each student's progress and modify lessons whenever needed to ensure continued improvement. This approach helps students remain motivated while achieving steady academic growth.

I teach Spanish using a methodology based on motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management to provide a complete learning experience. Motivation is central to my approach; I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged and confident to learn.
Communication is a key focus—I help students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in real-life situations to build practical language skills. Creativity is integrated into lessons through games, role-plays, storytelling, and visual activities to make learning enjoyable and memorable.
Time management ensures that each class is structured, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice efficiently. I also provide guidance on managing self-study and practice outside class for consistent progress.
In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar basics, pronunciation, and general language learning strategies. My goal is to make learning Spanish simple, practical, enjoyable, and effective while helping students build fluency and confidence.
