About Alba
I am an experienced violin tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals develop their musical skills. Teaching music is something I truly enjoy, and I am committed to helping students succeed.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, regular practice, and gradual improvement. I believe that learning violin becomes easier when concepts are clearly explained and practised consistently. I focus on teaching posture, bow control, finger placement, and note reading before moving to advanced techniques. I also guide students in improving rhythm, tone, and musical expression.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and playing ability. I create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel supported. My goal is to make violin learning a smooth and fulfilling experience.

My teaching methodology is focused on making violin learning clear, practical, and comfortable for every student. I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, tone, and expression so students can easily understand and apply them.
I place strong emphasis on fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and scales, as these are essential for building proper technique. I follow a step-by-step approach and make sure students are confident with each concept before moving ahead. I also adapt my teaching based on each student’s learning pace and goals.
Communication is very important in my classes, and I encourage students to ask questions freely. I provide regular feedback and guide them in their improvement. I follow honesty, patience, and commitment. Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance techniques.
