About Everly
I am a dedicated vocal teacher with 14 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My teaching combines classical training with a love for exploring multiple genres, helping students develop versatility and expressive range. I focus on building strong technical foundations while nurturing each student’s unique voice.
My lessons integrate ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to strengthen overall musicianship and deepen musical understanding. I tailor each session to the individual, creating a supportive and engaging environment that encourages growth and exploration. Students gain confidence in both solo and ensemble settings, learning to perform with clarity and emotion.
I guide learners through practical exercises that develop pitch accuracy, dynamic control, and stylistic interpretation. Improvisation and creative exploration are woven into lessons to make learning exciting and personally meaningful. Whether preparing for exams, performances, or simply discovering their voice, my students leave with stronger technique and greater musical confidence.
My goal is to inspire passion for singing while equipping every student with the tools to express themselves fully and authentically. I believe that every voice has a story, and I am here to help it shine.

My voice lessons are designed to support both the Suzuki Student and the Orchestra Member, tailoring techniques to each learner’s needs. We begin with foundational breathing exercises to develop strong breath control and support healthy vocal production. Vocal health is emphasised through warm-ups, posture guidance, and exercises that prevent strain while increasing endurance.
Pitch training is central, using apps for ear training and vocal tracking to improve accuracy and confidence. The Suzuki Student benefits from playful, incremental practice, focusing on ear-based learning, expressive phrasing, and connecting emotionally with each song. The Orchestra Member focuses on blending with ensembles, dynamic control, and stylistic interpretation to enhance performance versatility.
Performance skills are integrated through guided practice, mock performances, and expressive storytelling. I encourage both personas to explore personal vocal expression while maintaining technical precision. Lessons balance structured exercises with creative exploration, helping students grow musically and emotionally.
By combining modern tools with classical techniques, each student develops a healthy, flexible voice and a deeper connection to the music they perform. This methodology supports confidence, creativity, and long-term vocal growth.
