About Anna
Hi, I'm Anna!
I'm a highly qualified voice, text and dialect specialist with years of experience working with performers and business professionals.
I hold an MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a BA in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a BA in English Literature from Warwick University and a full TEFL qualification. I have extensive experience as a voice specialist, including serving as Senior Voice and Text Practitioner at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
In addition to my seven years as a resident practitioner at the RSC (2016-2023), I have coached at many different venues across the UK and trained actors at top drama schools in London. I have even been lucky enough to deliver voice work in the US and China!
Alongside my work with performers, I have provided workshops and one-to-one tuition to corporate clients, and I love coaching public speaking and communication skills. I have previously delivered staff training for prestigious companies such as Disney.
I offer face-to-face and online coaching with a person-centred, practical and nurturing approach.

As a performer, your voice is one of your most important and versatile tools. My work can help you to harness its full potential. Whether you want to optimise your vocal freedom and flexibility, ensure that you are technically prepared to fill a large theatre space, or perfect a tricky accent, I will tailor my sensitive and non-judgmental work to meet your needs.
I am also a specialist in text work, having honed my skills over many years in residence at the Royal Shakespeare Company. I love supporting performers to explore, understand and relish challenging language, whether classical or modern. My work will boost your confidence, improve your connection to character and open up your playing choices.
I offer one-to-one sessions, group seminars and workshops, both online and in person.
Areas I can help you with include:
- Vocal technique
- Voice warm-ups and cool-downs
- Dialect coaching
- Audition speeches
- Detailed text work/character study
- Understanding and delivering Shakespeare
- Vocal stamina/vocal health advice

Anna is one of the most knowledgeable, insightful and skilled voice teachers I’ve ever worked with. Her profound grasp of language and her talent for unravelling its intricacies makes every session so incredibly useful. Every time I finish a session with Anna, I feel like I’ve learned an enormous amount and I feel much more confident and prepared. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Anna for anyone seeking voice work, text analysis, or audition preparation.
Anna is a truly wonderful teacher who brings such warm, positive energy to every lesson. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has significantly improved my presentation skills. I feel much more confident thanks to her guidance. Thank you, Anna
