I’ve been taking lessons with Dayana for 3 months now, and I can honestly say she’s one of the best teachers I’ve ever had!

She is exceptionally kind and patient, which makes such a huge difference when you’re working on something challenging or just having an off day. No matter how many times I stumble over the same passage or ask her to explain a concept again, she never makes me feel rushed or judged…she just smiles and finds another way to help it click.

She’s also incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly understands both the technical side of piano and the musicality behind it, and she’s great at sharing little insights about phrasing, pedaling, dynamics, or historical context that make pieces feel more alive.

What I appreciate most is how she tailors every lesson to exactly where I am. She never pushes a one-size-fits-all method; instead, she listens to my goals, respects my current pace, and adjusts the repertoire, exercises, and challenges accordingly. Some weeks we dive deep into technique, others we focus on musical expression or just play through pieces I love…it always feels purposeful and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a teacher who combines real expertise with genuine warmth and flexibility, I can’t recommend her highly enough. Lessons with her are the highlight of my week!

Perfect! The strengths I see in Dayana is that she is very patient and passionate in what she does. Her actual playing is heavenly and is an inspiration to achieve her level of skill. I will recommend her to anyone and expect no less than a great experience with her.
