About Ana
With 12 years of flute teaching experience and more than 150 students guided, I am committed to helping learners of all levels reach their musical potential. I teach technical skills—breath control, finger dexterity, tone, and rhythm—while also fostering creativity and expressive playing.
Lessons are customised to suit each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring consistent progress and engagement. I also incorporate music theory, sight-reading, and ensemble practice to provide a complete musical foundation. My aim is to cultivate confident, skilled, and inspired musicians who enjoy every moment of their flute-playing journey.

My flute teaching methodology focuses on creating a student-centred, adaptable, and collaborative learning experience. I take time to understand each student’s learning style and design lessons that make concepts clear, exercises meaningful, and practice engaging. This ensures steady progress while fostering a love for music.
Flexibility is central to my approach. I modify exercises, repertoire, and practice routines based on the student’s progress, goals, and musical interests. Collaboration is emphasised through duets, group exercises, and performance simulations, helping students build confidence, ensemble skills, and expressive ability. Positivity guides every session, creating an encouraging environment where students feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and celebrate their growth.
Alongside flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical mastery, musical understanding, and expressive skill, preparing students to become confident, versatile, and passionate musicians.
