I’m a family medicine resident physician, who has a degree in English and over 20 years of teaching experience. I enjoy tutoring students of all ages. I also prep students for SAT/ACT and the MCAT.

About Sarah
I value your time and will use every minute of our scheduled time. I have a 15 minute late policy: if the student is late more than 15 minutes without prior notice, I will charge for our entire session. I request at least 24 hours for any schedule changes, especially since my schedule can be quite packed. I am available most evenings and sometimes weekends.

My lessons are uniquely designed for each student, considering their individual style of learning and background. I employ a softer version of the socratic method with visual/auditory examples, and I reinforce concepts by doing example problems with the student to check their understanding. I have designed entire curriculums and have experience teaching all different ages, as well as students with learning disabilities.
