About Thimna
I knew I had a passion for sewing, design at a very young age, from binge watching all the fashion shows the world could offer, I grew up watching Project Runway, the drive and passion fashion designers had to succeed and put their work out there, no matter what! From watching the Devil wears Prada, confessions of a shopaholic and so much more, I saw the need to enter the space, that’s when I began teaching myself how to sew by hand, as I had very little opportunities back then but very big dreams!! I then worked my way up and was able to afford myself the luxury of professionally educating myself by going to fashion school as well as all the famous fashion shows around Cape Town.
I started this tutoring journey because I too wish I had someone guide me in my beginning stages of Fashion Design/ Manifacturing, but the journey is what makes you,
so I say, what better way to fulfill that very moment , by guiding YOU on this beautiful journey.

I have the ability to efficiently identify and solve problems by organizing my professional activities and managing my time through meticulous planning. I routinely meet deadlines, have strong communication skills that lead to positive interpersonal interactions, and I deliver thorough, finished work that is of a higher caliber.
Having had many experiences and acquired many skills, I believe that makes me the perfect tutor for YOU! I live and breathe fashion, being a fashion designer, digital specialist and stylist, with a fashion experience of over 5 years as well as a few fashion education achievements in my journey of finishing my degree. I have also worked in multiple spaces, that require one to have an impeccable customer service, being a people’s person myself.
Lastly, my professional experience as seen on my CV, humbly speaks for itself.
