About Rachel
I am a writer/educator has a BA in English and Creative Writing and 3 years of education under my belt. I have been tutoring on and off for two years and have experience in English, speech lessons to nonverbal students, and American Government. I work as a paraeducator, helping students in a high school setting in the classroom. My students have kept their grades up in the classroom. While tutoring, my students have been able to hand in late work for credit.

I like to approach each lesson from the appeal of the student. Literature and English can feel old and dry to a student but if it is discussed in terms of the modern world, it can be easier to grasp. In my lessons I work hard to adapt to what each student needs and what is unique to them. Patience is a must as well as learning the foundations for good study skills in the future.
