About Kieron

I am a film industry veteran with several major feature films and television series under my belt. In my career I have done concept painting to storyboards including some immensely fun action scenes. All of which has gone on the big screen. I have developed the practical skills to not only bring a film and story to life, but also to get it done quickly before the Director gets back from lunch! These techniques and skills are very practical, can be readily learnt and immediately applied by students to their own creative work, be it cartoons, comics, anime or anything else....

About the lesson

Lessons are specifically tailored to students' aims based on an initial chat. The reality is everyone has a style or subject they are passionate about and crave to get good at. which from my point of view is a really cool starting point. Lessons are 30 to 60 minutes with tailored homework for the next session so that students get to practise their new skills. The lessons are online and consist of me sharing a screen where I can sketch and explain concepts. Students can also share their work usually as phone photos during the lesson. This as well as the homework is really good for seeing where students are in their creative journey.
