About Aoife
Hi! I’m Aoife, a final-year French student currently completing my degree. I have a genuine passion for the French language and culture, and I recently returned to Ireland after living in France, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the language and everyday French life.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel challenging. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence.
I hope to pursue a career as a French teacher, and tutoring is a great opportunity for me to develop my teaching skills while helping students discover the enjoyment of learning French. I am committed to making each lesson engaging, personalized and suited to the student’s individual goals.

My approach is relaxed, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual level and goals. I focus on building confidence through a combination of conversation, grammar, vocabulary, written exercises and oral practice. Lessons are interactive and adapted to suit how each student learns best.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, with the option to focus on specific areas such as exam preparation, French oral practice, grammar or general language skills.
I am a final-year French student completing my degree and have recently returned from living in France, where I developed my language skills through full immersion in French-speaking life and culture.
Lessons are suitable for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students, as well as anyone looking to improve their French or become more confident speaking the language.
