About Chloe
Hi, I'm Chloe, a final-year Japanese Studies student at Newcastle University. As a passionate language learner myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I'm here to help you on your own language journey (I know how frustrating it can be).
Currently working at an advanced level in Japanese, I offer classes for beginners with a focus on vocabulary and conversation—the kind of classes I wish I had three years ago! My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, where you can build confidence in speaking Japanese from day one.
As for English, I have experience teaching students of all levels and ages during my time in Japan. I now work part time at my university, teaching academic english reading skills to students, which I would love to share with you.
Whether you're just starting out with Japanese (...it's scary i know) or looking to improve your academic English, I'm excited to work together and help you reach your language goals!
