About Ayomide
I am currently in my final year of studying Law at university and have always enjoyed helping others achieve their academic potential. Having achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE History, I am keen to use my historical knowledge and problem-solving skills to support students in developing greater confidence and understanding of the subject.
Over the past three years, I have regularly tutored friends and family members, receiving consistently positive feedback for my clear explanations and patient approach. These experiences have inspired me to tutor more widely, allowing me to share my skills and help students strengthen their historical ability and achieve their academic goals.

My lessons follow a clear but flexible structure designed to maximise progress. I begin by selecting a specific topic and assessing the student's current understanding through targeted questions or short exercises.
This helps identify strengths, misconceptions, and areas requiring further development. The lesson then focuses on addressing these weaker areas with tailored explanations, guided practice, and worked examples to build confidence and understanding.
To conclude, I reassess the identified weaknesses to measure improvement and reinforce learning. I also set aside time for two-way feedback, allowing both the student and I to reflect on the lesson and adapt future sessions to best suit their learning needs.
