About Maha
Hi, I’m Maha — a newly incoming junior doctor with a background of an integrated medical degree. I’ve always loved science, but more than that, I’ve loved making it make sense for others. I know how overwhelming school can feel when topics are rushed or not explained clearly — I’ve been there myself. That’s why I teach: to break things down simply, focus on what really matters for exams, and help students build confidence in subjects they might be struggling with. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just trying to pass, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you forward with structure, patience, and clarity.

Your Techniques and Teaching Methodology I focus on exam-oriented, concept-driven learning. My sessions begin with a diagnostic quiz to identify weak areas, followed by targeted teaching using real-life analogies, visuals, and exam-style questions. I end each lesson with a quick recap and tailored revision tasks. My teaching is adaptive—I break complex topics down for struggling students and deepen understanding for high performers. Typical Length of a Lesson Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, structured to maximise retention and confidence. I also offer 30-minute booster sessions for focused revision closer to exams. Qualifications & Experience I’m a final-year Medical Student (BMBS/BMedSci) at the University of Nottingham with a strong academic background in Biomedical Sciences. I’ve taught GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, both online and in-person. I also bring experience mentoring junior students, running revision workshops, and explaining medical science in a way that sticks.
