About Shravani
I am a curious and passionate person who enjoys exploring and learning across diverse areas. My interests range from baking, chess, and photography to reading, writing, and research. I approach everything I do with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm, always looking for opportunities to learn something new, experiment, and understand things more deeply. My background in psychology further fuels this curiosity by helping me understand how people think, learn, and behave. I bring this same energy into teaching, combining creativity, observation, and an understanding of learning and memory to make lessons engaging, relatable, and memorable.

My background in psychology gives me an advantage as a teacher because I understand that learning is not just about delivering information but is about attention, memory, motivation, and individual differences. I can use this understanding to make concepts easier to grasp and remember, rather than relying only on rote learning.
I’m also naturally interested in how people think and what captures their attention, so I try to make teaching interactive, relatable, and engaging. My reading has helped me develop this further. I’ve read everything from The Power of Your Subconscious Mind and Robert Greene to Dostoevsky and Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, which has exposed me to psychology, human behavior, storytelling, and different ways of looking at people and ideas.
So, I would bring two things into the classroom: an understanding of how students learn and the ability to communicate ideas in ways that hold their attention and stay with them.
